Originally from New England, Dr. Karlin received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University. He gained invaluable residency training in general surgery and plastic surgery at University of Miami and Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. At the University of Illinois in Chicago, Dr. Karlin served as an instructor in plastic surgery. He then established practices in Beverly Hills and Palm Springs. In 2001, Dr. Karlin relocated to become medical director of Nova Cosmetic Centers in Orlando, FL where he focuses on providing innovative, person-to-person service.
