Dr. Donohue has practiced Family medicine since 1995. After seeing so many patients with sicknesses and disease that can potentially be avoided, he felt it was more beneficial to focus on preventative medicine centered around bioidentical hormone replacement therapy integrated with the best in fitness and nutrition.

Jeffrey A. Donohue, M.D. earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 1992 and completed his residency in Family Practice at The University of Alabama College of Community Health Services in 1995. Dr. Donohue received the Resident Excellence in Teaching Award in 1994 and was the Chief Resident in 1994-1995. He was board certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Family Practice in 1995 and subsequently became a Fellow. Since 1995, Dr. Donohue has served as a Family Practice Physician. Dr. Donohue is also a Diplomate in the American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine and is completing the Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. He is looking forward to offering his patients bioidentical hormones, and to devoting his practice to preventive medicine and wellness.
