Seattle's Holistic & Wellness Center brings you Dr. Jonathan Wright, a well-known pioneer in bio-identical hormone replacement (BHRT) therapies for women and men. Dr. Jonathan Wright personally developed the use of bio-identical estrogens in the early 1980s and was the first to use DHEA in private practice.  He originated the now widely utilized urine test which tracks hormone metabolites activated by body enzyme processes, enabling practitioners to confirm efficacy and safety of bio-identical hormone treatment.  As a recognized expert in modulating hormone therapies using botanicals and natural substances, he shares his expertise with hundreds of physicians yearly at medical conferences.

In addition to writing and lecturing, Dr. Wright is the Medical Director of Tahoma Clinic in Renton, Washington where he also practices medicine.  Dr. Wright founded Tahoma Clinic  in 1973 to provide natural treatments for conditions not requiring surgery and to focus on prevention of disease.  The infamous 1992 FDA Tahoma Clinic “raid” was a major impetus for Congressional reform of vitamin/mineral regulation.

Dr. Wright is internationally known for his books and medical articles, authoring or co/authoring 11 books, selling over 1.1 million copies with two texts achieving best selling status: “Book of Nutritional Therapy” and “Guide to Healing with Nutrition”.   The popular “Stay Young and Sexy with Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement” for women, and its equivalent for men “Maximize Your Vitality and Potency – For Men Over 45” present the main topics of endocrine support and bio-identical hormone treatments in a public-friendly format.
