Male Menopause

Symptoms are very similar to those of female menopause. Men may start out with little things like feeling bone tired, waking up in the middle of the night with general body aches, forgetfulness, no interest in sex, and a host of other minor symptoms which are generally written off as burnout or depression. Women have already been educated to the fact that hormone replacement will frequently resolve or reverse the physical changes of menopause. Men, on the other hand, still need to make this discovery. Why it has taken so long to educate men to the advantages of testosterone therapy is anybody’s guess. Resistance to therapy is fading, however, and testosterone therapy is quite likely to become for men what estrogen therapy has been for millions of women.
